Whats The Scoop

The Mermaid Parade and ‘Pasties Girl’

Every year Coney Island brings us something extra special! The day we all can’t wait for.

The Coney Island The Mermaid Parade!!!!!!

This parade inspires thousands of creative individuals to go out, be a mermaid or be something fun! I look forward to this parade every year. I absolutely love designing my own clothes for special events and this is definitely one of them. It’s great motivation for making a costume.

This outfit I made myself. I design all kinds of clothes and cosplay costumes. I decided to explore the world of Belly Dance/Burlesque Costuming. This is indeed my first belly dance outfit I ever created. I finished the outfit in one day. However, the amount of time spent exploring options and indecisive decision making makes this one hell of a time consuming project. You just can’t forget why you’re making the outfit and allow the creativity to fuel you. It was all worth it! I had one of the most decked out costumes at the parade. I love making outfits that stand out. If you’re interested in this outfit or style of clothing you can find it on Fantasies By Hope or request for one. The bra I am wearing is a size C-cup that way it will look great on a B-C-and D cup! I am a D-cup. The backing I can adjust for you no problem. This bra is one of a kind. Once sold that’s it! I hand painted the shells and the bra. You can swim with the bra, hoop with it on, be an actual mermaid, wash it. The Jewels will hold.

I had a absolute blast selling these pasties! People were looking for me at the parade asking, ” Hey where’s pasties girl!? ” I was actually recognized by many for my work. Those are also sold on my website.

Once the parade is about done and relaxation was had on the beach, it’s time to top off the day with one last stop at the FreakShow Bar! The best place to get strange-r. Head out to Scary Ben’s next event at Coney Island! Bridging our lens’, Bushwick Burlesque and the Squidling Bros. Circus Sideshow.

It was time to leave after greeting the lovely freaks and having a wonderful time. We needed to leave a little early because we had a Fire Performance Gig that night. Just when we thought the day was done, one of our biggest fans stopped us, gave us candy and treats! Totally forgot that rule about not taking candy from strangers.

We had a absolute blast! My bf Joe helped a ton with selling my pasties.

As I yelled out ” Pasties! Pasties! Cover your Ninis! “

He yelled ” Pasties! Pasties! Cover your Nips! “

Best partner in crime ever. He even advertised my bra I made. That’s a keeper.

I hope you all enjoyed my blog! Subscribe if you’re interested in knowing where to go for fun.

outstanding job on the blog posts.

  2. It’s actually a great and useful piece of information. I am happy
that you just shared this helpful information with us. Please
stay us informed like this. Thanks for sharing.

  3. And the kids didn t seem to be too impressed by the eye-boggling array of nipple pasties, codpieces, and jiggling buttocks. Mermaids and their consorts require very little clothing, so creatively embellished nudity is one of the hallmarks of the Mermaid Parade. But it s not something the kids seemed to care much about, one way or the other.

It’s very normal at the mermaid parade. Kids eyes are more on the cool giant jelly fish floating in the air and fun activities going around. Adults are more judgemental then children. It’s why the mermaid parade is so wonderful. Makes us all a kid again.

  4. beautifully intricate work.
