Washington RockState Park is a great place to stop and explore.
We had gone in the Fall. I found it was a wonderful opportunity to really gain first hand at enjoying the fall foliage.
While being in the area, we were told this was one of the nicest and closest scenic overlooks nearby and easy to get to.
The signs directed us straight to the location. Then up,up and away we went!
Not only could you look over the edge, you can climb over if you’re daring.
There were deer, friendly faces and peace all around.
Just what I needed and was looking for!

Then after relaxing, we went on a little trail right behind where we parked across from the location.
I’m always looking to explore some more.
We didn’t go deep into the trail but it was still nice to do.
The only thing missing was some sandwiches and juice! lol
You can find Washington RockState Park at – 44-68 Rock Rd E Green Brook Township, NJ 08812
